Barris first met Marilyn in 1954 on the set of 'The Seven Year Itch', and they two become firm friends. This photo, originally shot on July 13th, 1962, was part of Marilyn's last photo assignment before her tragic and premature death on August 5th, 1962.

This fantastic candid portrait shows Marilyn in a white bath robe outside the townhouse location for 'The Seven Year Itch' in 1954. Hundreds of adoring fans had gathered on the opposite side of the street to catch a glimpse pf their idol. It is a silver gelatin print on double-weight fibre paper, which was produced, under the guidance and approval of Barris, by One West Publishing. The print is editioned '22/50' on verso, signed by George Barris in the image on the bottom right hand corner and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from OneWest Publishing.
