About Natalia Shchipakina

1Exhibition

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques, oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by famous artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan and Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

About this artwork

I tried to create a painting which conveys the charm of the historical streets of Barcelona, combining centuries-old heritage with modern life, and showing the charming architecture of this beautiful city in my author's vision. Oil on canvas. Signed. Varnished.
