Anthony's landscapes are beautifully crafted, with enough detail to allow realism, yet individual enough to maintain a 'painterly' style. As a foil to his detailed and time consuming landscapes, Anthony often paints still life subjects in rich, thick, impasto oil paint. Painted quickly and spontaneously, they are, none the less, accomplished works and stunningly decorative.
