About Claudia Daminato
Since I was a child, I've always had a pencil in my hand, drawing on anything that came my way, portraying people, animals, everything I saw. This passion accompanied me throughout my childhood and adolescence. Then, one day by chance, I found my old tempera paints. It was like rekindling a flame, and from then on, I never stopped painting. My first paintings were an exploration, a way to understand what I could create with colors. I started with simple subjects, but soon realized that animals were what represented me the most. From there, my passion grew, and I began to experiment with different artistic representations while maintaining my acrylic technique.
My art:My artistic journey began with realism, but over time I developed a personal style that blends realistic and surreal elements. Despite not setting limits on subjects and trying to be guided by creativity, my favorite subjects remain animals. In some surreal paintings, I like to insert animals in unreal or fantastic situations, playing with elements, while in others they become the protagonists of my dreamlike worlds. With the acrylic technique, my realistic style and attention to detail, I create a bridge between the real world and imagination, making the unreal tangible. I try to impress with realism and surprise with surrealism, inviting the viewer to be moved, to reflect, and to be carried away by imagination.
I hope that my creations inspire those who look at them to explore their own creativity, to never stop dreaming and imagining new worlds. Each painting is a step forward for me, an opportunity to grow as an artist and to discover myself. Creativity is a flowing river: once it is allowed to flow, it never stops. Each creation is a consequence of the previous one, a step in a continuous evolution.About the Product
Forget the usual banana taped to the wall. This is an ironic reinterpretation of Cattelan's 'Comedian,' where the common object is dressed in elegance. I wanted to transform the iconic banana into a unique pictorial work, adding an unexpected decorative element: the tape, usually banal, is transformed into a refined element, with floral motifs painted with meticulous care.
This is not simply a painting of a banana taped to the wall, but a dialogue between conceptual art and decoration. A play of contrasts that invites a smile and reflection, transforming a common object into an ironic and pictorial icon. The work is equipped with a removable hanger and is signed by me on the back together with the title and year of creation. It will be shipped with a certificate of authenticity, carefully packaged and shipped via courier with tracking number.
