About this artwork

This summer I spent days in a few different villages. Small villages, almost abandoned, yet with inhabitants in some houses. Typical countryside life: simple things, true people connected to God and nature. People eat what they have cultivated and drink water they bring themselves from natural springs. And they are happy; they do not need anything more. And they grow flowers in the most common way, as their ancestors did. Here is the oldest flower that has given beauty to every house for centuries

This original oil painting is done on stretched cotton canvas. Size: 70 x 70 cm. Depth: 2 cm. The sides are painted, so the artwork can be hung without a frame if preferred.
