40 x 40 x 1.5 inches original oil painting of a large semi abstract landscape. A woman sits by a lake wearing a yellow dress with a dog beside her. There is a lake and trees and forests or mountains beyond and poppies and wildflowers all around. It was inspired by a fragment of a dream that I get sometimes where I live in a cabin by a lake with dogs and cats and animals for company and the scent of wild flowers. It was an experiment trying to paint it as it was indistinct which is why the painting is slightly strange. I am pleased with it though as it does help me recall this dream which was probably from another lifetime. I like the way it is both orderly and chaotic at the same time - just like memories and dreams themselves are.
