40 x 40 x 1.5 inches original oil painting of a large semi-abstract landscape. A woman sits by a lake wearing a yellow dress with a dog beside her. There is a lake, trees, and forests or mountains beyond, and poppies and wildflowers all around. It was inspired by a fragment of a dream that I sometimes get, where I live in a cabin by a lake with dogs, cats and animals for company, and the scent of wildflowers. It was an experiment, trying to paint it as it was indistinct, which is why the painting is slightly strange. I am pleased with it, though, as it does help me recall this dream, which was probably from another lifetime. I like the way it is both orderly and chaotic at the same time - just like memories and dreams themselves are.
