About JC Trouboul
“As an artist, I am obliged to capture the behaviors and events of our society as journalists do. Inspired by fairy tales and following the work of old masters, was born this collection: "Stories of our time" Fairy Tales for Adults. Part I"
The 21st century is at a very interesting, and at the same time, a complicated stage. A world with advancements in many spheres bring us at the same time disadvantages galore and changes in social behaviors. Life in solitude, wars and weapons, the mass extinction of animals, the sexism and racism that still exist, and how social media are creating new versions of ourselves: these are some of the themes that the artist represents in these works.About the Product
This painting represents the last moment of an important party. We can see a woman wearing a blue dress, standing on a podium and a god mother to her left fixing her dress. She was shown in society in a big party. In the real story of Cindirella, she marries the prince, and her stepsisters are attacked in the eyes by doves for their envy and evil. In this case, “the prince” is the need to be accepted and “married” with society, the god mother is a fashion designer and the moment is the post party after the Annual MET Gala Show. The different areas of the dress are the different layers we come across before finding the real person underneath.
