About Jennifer Morris

As a child, Jennifer Morris learned to paint, first with watercolors, then with oils, and finally with acrylics. Jennifer started a degree in studio arts, with a concentration in photography, but school was not for her, and she took a break. Jennifer joined the Army, started a family, and eventually found herself missing art. She went back to school, but it was interrupted by a deployment to Iraq, where she started dabbling with photography and sketching again.

After deployment, Jennifer slowly completed her education and earned a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, before discovering that she did not like designing for clients. At that point, Jennifer began to focus on photography and painting again.

About this Artwork

Water pooling on the ground after a rainstorm, dirt piling up in the cracks of the asphalt, and miles of pavement.

Painted on gallery wrapped canvas with multiple layers of high quality acrylic paints and medium, this painting also pastel details. It is finished around the edges, eliminating the need for a frame, and has picture wire already installed, making it ready to hang.
