About this artwork

“The Line on the Distance” is a dark yet ethereal abstract seascape oil painting 60 cm x 97 cm (24 x 38 inches) on a 4 cm (1.5-inch) deep canvas.

It was inspired by the last light of the day on the sea in Hastings. Its title comes from 'From the Water' by Johnny Flynn.

It's painted in shades of blue with black and white and a thin orange stripe. The paint is layered and blended. The painting continues around the sides of the canvas and it is signed on the back. It is ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
