Autobiografica: Io Sono Ciò di Cui mi Nutro, 2017

The installation titled: AUTOBIOGRAPHY: I AM WHAT I EAT is inspired by the book by Philippe Claudel: "Perfumes: Sentimental inventory of the smells of a life". "Through images, texts, objects and smells - the artist -represents an autobiographical journey into the smells of a life, bonding with one's own land and at the same time with the world. With a minimalist and zen approach, she focuses on social food relations and some essences of the Salento and oriental culinary tradition (referring to foods, medicinal herbs and other ingredients imported from the East during the period of Magnagrecia in southern Italy ). Each print shows a fruit or a spice with a proverb in the Salento dialect. The work consists of 20 prints on canvas 20 x 20 cm each. It is accompanied by authentic (COA).
