This is a completely unique and original abstract oil painting on reclaimed wood. This painting is emotionally charged and is the newest in a series of exciting works that epitomise certain techniques and an aesthetic I have been working to perfect over the years. The colours are vibrant and alive, and the texture is highly tactile and almost edible. This piece is bold and vibrant, and the patterns are dynamic, leading the eye across the surface of the painting. The colours streak, mix and overlap on the surface to create a beautiful play of colour and texture. Waves of texture exist sporadically on the surface to add depth and play off the other colours in the painting. It is a wonderful mess of colour, vibrancy and texture. This piece shines and bursts with vibrant colour, and is an original and emotional oil painting in a series like no other.
