Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques, oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by famous artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan and Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

About this artwork

When creating this painting, my main concern was to represent the light correctly. The whole atmosphere of the work depended on the right light. It seems I managed to complete the task. This work conveys my positive energy. In addition, the plot itself came out pretty well: a winter evening in Amsterdam, night lights and a fabulous sky. The painting is oil on canvas with a stretcher. Completely handmade.
