About Natalia Shchipakina

1Exhibition

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques, oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by famous artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan and Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

About this artwork

The Matterhorn is an iconic mountain in the Swiss Alps, known for its pyramid-like shape and challenging climbing conditions. It stands at 4,478 metres (14,692 feet). This beautiful place attracts climbers and tourists from around the world. The painting is made in my original bright style using a variety of rich positive tones. Oil on canvas. Signed. Varnished.
