The canvas depicts the famous canals of the city of Empuribrava, which is located in the Catalan province of Girona (Spain). The lower part of the artwork depicts water and a pier (left). On the right are the boats. Tall palm trees are visible in the distance. The background is a multi-colored sky at sunset. The artist tried to convey the beauty of the place. To achieve this goal, the author of the artwork used a painstaking technique, involving the study of details and serious work on the color scheme. Particular attention was paid to the water surface and reflections. Varnished and signed.
