About Natalia Shchipakina
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favourite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

The painting shows a girl on the seashore, waiting for something. This picture is an allegory, the essence of which everyone will find for himself. As for the artistic technique, I used my own creative style: bright bold colors, cutting strokes, surreal representation of the surrounding reality.
