About Natalia Shchipakina

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

In the center of the painting is a narrow street leading to the sea coast. On the sides are houses decorated with blooming flowers. In the background you can see the sea under a bright sunny sky. The painting is dedicated to the Mediterranean landscapes. This can be seen in many coastal cities. When creating the painting, the artist used several techniques, including classical impressionism.
