The Heart of Costa Brava

The marina of Empuriabrava is, for many, the heart of the Costa Brava (Spain). In addition, it is the maritime symbol of the region, because Empuriabrava is home to one of the largest ports with canals for private yachts and boats.

The painting shows a lighthouse on a pier. Above the lighthouse there is a symbol of the town – a sailboat with oars.

This work, like most of my other works, stands out with bright colours. I've always liked bright colours. Sometimes I see them where others do not notice. And I want to show this in my paintings... The world is full of colours and beauty!
