About Natalia Shchipakina

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.

About the Product

The Marina of Empuriabrava, for many, it is the heart of the Costa Brava (Spain). In addition, it is the maritime symbol of the region, because in Empuriabrava is located one of the largest ports with canals for private yachts and boats.

The painting shows a lighthouse on a pier. Above the lighthouse there is a symbol of the town – a sailboat with oars.

This work, like most of my other works, stands out with bright colors. I've always liked bright colors. Sometimes I see them where others do not notice. And I want to show this in my paintings... The world is full of colors and beauty!
