Blank was born in Berlin, Germany, but he lives and works in Miami, Florida. He received a BA in Fine Arts, followed by a MA, both at NY University. His current body of work includes mixed media, collage, installation, and digital printing. He is open, in the use of everyday materials, to communicate his ideas. Through the use of materials such as photos, paint, wood, cloth, wire, and others, he creates large scale mixed media paintings. Lately, these paintings have transformed into sculptures.
