About Geert Lemmers Fine Photo Art and paintings

In addition to the prints on Dibond or acrylic glass that I offer for photographic art and mixed media works, I can now also offer all these works as prints on canvas framed in black or clear frames for the same price. All these prints are produced by Whitewall.

My paintings are, of course, all unique. My photo and new media works usually have an edition of a maximum of 8 pieces per artwork, but some selected works are sold as unique (maximum 1 copy). You can discuss the design and size with me at any time. It is important to me that you are completely satisfied. Given the interest from galleries and museums, I would have to set the prices much higher, but I think reaching you as a collector / lover of good art is more important than making money.

Artwork

About this artwork

A vibrant explosion of colour defines this painted composition. Rhythmic shapes drift across the canvas. Oil and acrylic layers create a dense, tactile surface. The artist merges a background of soft yellows and deep teals with organic, floating forms. These floating elements resemble floral clusters or celestial bodies. They suggest a mystical landscape where physical laws fade.

The approach leans towards the conceptual. It captures a sense of spiritual movement. Each brushstroke contributes to a feeling of organised chaos. Soft pinks and reds contrast with cool blues. This tension brings a dynamic energy to the visual plane. The artwork reflects a lifelong fascination with the unseen and the mystical. It transforms human emotion into a simplified, abstract language. The complexity lies in the balance between spontaneity and precision. Light filters through the layered pigments. This effect adds depth to the flattened perspective. The final result is a meditative exploration of a fantastic realm. Subtle textures underscore the handmade quality of the piece. A signature rests discreetly in the lower right corner.
