About Geert Lemmers Fine Photo Art and paintings

In addition to the prints on Dibond or acrylic glass that I offer for photographic art and mixed media works, I can now also offer all these works as prints on canvas framed in black or clear frames for the same price. All these prints are produced by Whitewall.

My paintings are, of course, all unique. My photo and new media works usually have an edition of a maximum of 8 pieces per artwork, but some selected works are sold as unique (maximum 1 copy). You can discuss the design and size with me at any time. It is important to me that you are completely satisfied. Given the interest from galleries and museums, I would have to set the prices much higher, but I think reaching you as a collector / lover of good art is more important than making money.

About this artwork

A powerful study of contrast and presence. This painted artwork balances stark geometry with organic texture. A vibrant red monolith dominates the centre. It stands as a bold beacon against a muted backdrop. Grey and beige tones create a weathered, stone-like atmosphere. The composition evokes a sense of solitude and strength.

The artist employs a mixed-media approach. Oil and acrylic blend with charcoal and pastel. These materials build a rich, tactile surface. Every brushstroke adds depth to the atmospheric void. The result is a fusion of precision and raw emotion.

This piece reflects a journey toward simplification. It moves away from the figurative to embrace the mystical. The red form acts as a human surrogate. It represents a singular entity within a chaotic universe. The interplay of light and shadow enhances the architectural feel. The painting captures a moment of stillness. It focuses on the tension between vivid passion and neutral silence. A subtle signature marks the bottom right corner.
