This one-of-a-kind acrylic painting by Irina Fedorova depicts a colorful a yellow lotus grows out of dirty mud, stretches up through the water and blooms on the surface of the water as a beautiful flower. The golden rays of the rising sun appear over the horizon and illuminate the birth of the lotus.
A lotus bud is like a human heart and it is a symbol of enlightenment.

This painting is filled with symbols that can be seen and imagined.

I used mother-of-pearl paint in blue, green and yellow shades to create a shimmering background. The circles symbolize water drops in the rays of the rising sun. The golden leaf creates an additional effect of the presence of the sun in this painting.

The painting measures 16 inches high and 16 inches wide and has no frame. It comes with a certificate of authenticity and is signed by the artist herself.
