About Lynne Godina-Orme - Abstract Artist

I am an artist who loves blending and merging colours, allowing the free-forming expression that comes from creation.

Abstracts are so personal; I ask the viewer to go into the piece and explore.

About this artwork

This is my problem child! The ride this canvas took me on was very turbulent. I was sure it was "finished" 3 times. I started the process of completion, sealing, etc., then I just wasn't happy with the textures, blending and overall look. Back to the easel... 3 times. Finally, after adding more depth, more contrast and a lot more drama, there was no more doubt, perfection!
