About Maureen Greenwood
I am a mostly self-taught artist, originally from Southern Ireland. I took up painting in my later years and enjoy painting in all media, including acrylic, oil and watercolour. I have been teaching art for almost 30 years and consider myself fortunate to be able to pass on the knowledge I have gained. I paint most subjects, including abstract art. My paintings have been exhibited and sold in galleries and are in private collections in the UK and abroad. They are now available to buy from online galleries.

About the Product
La Roque Gageac is one of France's most beautiful villages. In a stunning position on the north bank of the Dordogne River, and backed by a steep hill / cliff, with little to suggest that much has changed there in the last 300 years, La Roque-Gageac is truly the perfect picture postcard village. It is about 8km from the historic town of Sarlat.
I stayed nearby in Beynac and the scenery was stunning. Painted in oil on deep edge canvas, sides are painted in keeping with the picture and it is ready to hang on to a wall.
A certificate of authenticity is supplied with the painting.
