Patent Red Shoes, 2018

This painting is the result of observing women spilling out of a Zumba class. While most of the women were wearing trainers one woman was wearing patent red leather shoes. The actual patent red shoes used for the painting belong to my wife, the rest of the painting is from model drawings and my construct.
