About Gordon Radford
The late Gordon Radford was born in Oldham (1936 - 2015), possessed of enormous talent he exhibited throughout the country and became a Member of the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts in 1975. For many years he exhibited at the Royal Society of Painters in Oils in London.
The paintings demonstrate great sensitivity and his depiction of sunlight is quite remarkable. He exhibited throughout the Country from Oban to the Isle of Wight. Galleries included Messums and The Mall Gallery in London, together with the Royal Society of Painters in Oils. Collections of his artwork are in a number of public galleries, in addition to private collections, including Sir Ian McKellen
