About Preston M. Smith (PMS)

Artist Preston M.

Smith (PMS) found himself cross-eyed and with no depth perception as a child.

About this artwork

This is a unique and original PMS abstract oil painting. It is part of a series of patterned canvas pieces. This painting has huge sweeping, streaking, and textured colour that is mesmerising to the eye and dares you to touch it. This piece was painted with my own personal mantra in mind: Beauty, Colour and Texture. It is a unification of highly textured painterly and design techniques I have been developing over the years. They culminate in an abstract/pop art hybrid that is symbolic, bold, vibrant and fun to look at. The texture in this piece is extreme and the colours are bright and inviting. It is an energetically exciting piece that has structure, depth, and feeling. A truly unique and engaging abstract painting like no other.

Note: This painting is painted on canvas and is not framed, but comes ready to hang with the sides painted black. Framing is unnecessary, but is up to the preference of the collector.
