Perhaps I am painting the cruelty of contemporary life because it is in opposition to my naïve outlook.

In contrast to the physical features of my paintings, I think I am visualising my feeling of anxiety in contemporary life.

When I view E.T, I feel a kind of regret for my childhood. It is difficult to say, but I think I needed to express the innocence inside me.

I tried to grow up fast and wanted to be an adult when I was a child. However, I needed more of my childhood when I look back.

E.T reminds me that I had a regrettable childhood.
