About Natalia Shchipakina

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

A new conceptual work from my cycle of paintings dedicated to mythology and gods. This time, the god of wine and natural forces appeared in the form of a powerful hero. This almost superhero look is complemented by a stylized starry sky. The canvas is filled with bright bold tones. Like all my other works, this one is charged with positive energy. Oil, canvas.
