About Natalia Shchipakina

1Show

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

About this Artwork

The painting shows a view of Empuriabrava, a coastal town in Catalonia known for its canals and beaches. A narrow pier stretches toward the town under a vast sky filled with clouds. The bright sea, colourful rocks, and vivid palette-knife textures capture the calm yet dynamic atmosphere of the Mediterranean coast. Oil, canvas. Signed. Varnished.
