About Natalia Shchipakina

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

About this Artwork

This canvas depicts wine and fruit. Rose wine is poured into a glass, fruits are laid out on the table. Behind is a vase of flowers. Green mountain valleys became the background. This painting is an attempt to convey to the viewer not only the wonderful delicate taste of wine and fruits, but also the very atmosphere of the places where this wine is produced. When creating this painting, I was inspired by the vineyards and wine restaurants of the Alt Emporda region of Catalonia. The color palette and painting technique became an important part of the idea of the painting. Oil, varnished. Signed.
