About Natalia Shchipakina

1Exhibition

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques, oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by famous artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan and Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

About this artwork

A vision of the apple orchards in bloom across L'Empordà, a historic region in Catalonia known for its landscapes and coastal light. The flowering trees blur the line between sky and earth, as if spring clouds have descended to rest on the fields. This work captures the charm of Catalonia in its poetic season. Oil on canvas. Signed. Varnished.
