About Geert Lemmers Fine Photo Art and paintings

1Award4Exhibitions

In addition to the prints on Dibond or acrylic glass that I offer for photographic art and mixed media works, I can now also offer all these works as prints on canvas framed in black or clear frames for the same price. All these prints are produced by Whitewall.

My paintings are, of course, all unique. My photo and new media works usually have an edition of a maximum of 8 pieces per artwork, but some selected works are sold as unique (maximum 1 copy). You can discuss the design and size with me at any time. It is important to me that you are completely satisfied. Given the interest from galleries and museums, I would have to set the prices much higher, but I think reaching you as a collector / lover of good art is more important than making money.

About this artwork

Vibrant energy defines this painted abstract composition. Bold strokes of acrylic and oil collide on the surface. Deep indigo forms anchor the visual field, contrasting sharply with a central black void. This dark square acts as a silent core amid a storm of colour.

Luminous yellow and turquoise accents bring a sense of light. White paint drips vertically across the canvas. These linear streaks suggest rain or frozen moments in time. The layering creates a rich tactile depth, while spontaneous marks mingle with structured shapes.

The imagery evokes a dreamlike state. It explores the tension between chaos and order. Figures emerge and dissolve within the chromatic haze. Every brushstroke reflects a search for emotional truth. The composition balances raw imperfection with a sophisticated palette and captures a fleeting sense of liberation. A single golden frame fragment rests in the lower-left corner, suggesting a window into a fragmented reality. The artwork concludes in an explosion of soft greens and deep purples.
