Enchanted is a large blue magical seascape painting with birds, rocks, waves and a distant island. It is 36 x 36 x 1.5 inches. The painting shows some House Martins arriving from across the ocean. Blue and turquoise waves are rippling against the rocks and there is a hint of a broken veil - as if the birds are bursting out of one reality and into a slightly different one. The inspiration was a trip to Portugal where I spent some time happily watching these birds swooping around over the sea and cliffs whilst catching insects for their families in an ancient clifftop monastery. It was a magical place and I am happy I have expressed it as I have. Painted on deep edge canvas, blue-green edges, ready to hang and comes with certificate of authenticity.
