Looking Beyond is a vibrantly coloured semi abstract deer painting. It is 30x20x1.5inches. The painting shows a delicate female deer standing against a sinuous art nouveau background that hints of fields and trees just out of focus. The deer is painted realistically and so she contrasts perfectly against the abstract rainbow coloured background. This painting was inspired by how beautiful deer are and expresses how happy it always makes me to spot them on my walks into English countryside.
