A nude female figure painted tying her hair and loosely painted on a Studland cream board which has a fine surface with good absorption. The mannered style of this figure with this type of board lends itself to a free style of painting. The work was originally painted in1984 and has had some revision in 2022.

I apply the acrylic paint in a liquid form as the board absorbs the paint, so there is no need to worry about breaking down the paint binder. I use artists large hogs hairbrushes to manipulate the work to give it a robust rendition.

The work only needs framing to make it ready to hang, it should and framed under glass with a mount.
