About Hirotaka Suzuki

19Exhibitions

Perhaps I am painting the cruelty of contemporary life because it is in opposition to my naïve outlook.

In contrast to the physical features of my paintings, I think I am visualising my feeling of anxiety in contemporary life.

About this artwork

Bruce Lee is one of the most important icons when I think of crossed culture. He has a very unique background and characteristics. I was really impressed by his successes, setbacks and failures. I needed to make a legacy of the existence of Bruce Lee inside me.
