About Natalia Shchipakina
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favourite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.
The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.

This abstract painting explores the idea of light spreading outward from a central source. Bold circular forms, energetic brushstrokes, and vivid colours create a sense of movement, warmth, and positive energy. The composition draws the eye toward the center, where layers of colour seem to pulse and expand across the canvas. Bright shades of turquoise, orange, red, yellow, violet, and blue interact with one another, creating a dynamic visual rhythm. Thick palette-knife textures and expressive paint application give the artwork depth and spontaneity, making every section feel alive with motion and colour. Oil on canvas. Signed and varnished.
