Mensolcar, 2026

Set against a dark, shaded background, a clear glass vase emerges, holding pale—almost ivory—roses. Two semi-transparent veils drape down from above like light stage curtains, while a horizontal band crosses the scene and a diagonal shaft of light illuminates the dark surface. A fallen bud in the foreground completes the still life, which is painted in oil on canvas using cool tones and soft gradations.
