Gulbenkian Lake Ducklings, 1999

This work was inspired at the artificial lakes of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon and ducklings swimming, that fascinate me. I painted directly on the canvas and I applied several oil paint layers to give more texture. It’s my method.
