About Garth Bayley

7Exhibitions

Garth’s work is all about capturing a moment in time.

This often means that his work is sport- or dance-related.

Artwork

About this artwork

This artwork was made by starting with a monotype print using water-based oil paint. I then worked into the print using graphite, charcoal and ink, and reworked some of the marks in oil paint. The models were drawn from life, and it's a series of poses from one woman. The poses create a friction between the positions.
