Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

This conceptual canvas depicts a woman whose image is inspired by superhero stories. She lies in the same position in which the ancient Romans were lying while dining on their couches. Pay attention to the symbol of the star: this is a connection with American cultural tradition, comics and, of course, the opportunity to make a wish. Oil, canvas, varnished. Signed.
