Glasgow Boy With Flowers, 2018

I painted a scene of the city of Glasgow but then painted over with this image. It still has the essence of Glasgow but he is now infused with the colour of Irn Bru - Scotlands other national Drink. Every worker seems to have this as a staple to keep going. They even have it in the hospitals as a health drink!
The Painting depicts the innocence of youth. The flowers worked up in oil pastels and to this with a new texture.
