About Natalia Shchipakina

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

I continue my series of paintings dedicated to the ancient gods, mythology and cultural traditions. The god of vegetation, viticulture, winemaking, the productive forces of nature, inspiration, and also the theater. This time I decided to paint the painting in black and white, adding some purple flowers. Oil, canvas. Varnished. Signed.
